San Jose Revisited

Wrap my arms around you,

hold you close and tight,

Or jump into the air,

and over the slide we glide;

Doesn’t really matter what we do,

when i feel your heart close to mine,

worldly worries wither and wane,

and all the stars brightly shine;

I know now why so many constellations,

had hid themselves in the dark,

for they were envious and bashful,

to shine in the face of a star so bright and stark;

it was you little Bea,

that seemed to me just as pretty;

Seeing the lights all around us,

engulfing the entire horizon,

all i could see was them making you glow,

brighter and cuter mi corazon;

With my maladies i had believed I never could do,

all that you helped me get through;

Although it knocked out my breath,

we were able to climb up a huge stretch;

and my skating might have gotten worse,

yet you stuck with me through all stumbles;

As the time comes near to say goodbye,

I dreaded this moment from the second we said hi;

Conversations difficult or easy or bitter or sweet or fun or sad ,

I can’t imagine with someone better than you to have had;

PS: It’s been many a time we’ve been to the park downstairs,

maybe we should give it a name for the next time we go there?
